Strength of a Woman 

S.O.W., an acronym for Strength Of a Woman, was founded by La'Keesha Faircloth, the wife of Pastor Shahim Faircloth, the visionary behind House of Praise Ministries. La'Keesha received the inspiration for SOW in 2017 but didn't settle on a name until the summer of 2019.

 

She deeply contemplated the direction of this Women's Ministry, expressing her yearning for something distinctive for women both within the church and in the broader community. Despite exploring various options, she found herself consistently drawn back to the name Strength of a Woman.

 

In February 2019, feeling perplexed, she inscribed "Strength Of a Woman" on her tablet. She pleaded with God to elucidate why this name was chosen. Later, awakened by the Holy Spirit, she discovered the abbreviation "SOW" on her tablet. The Lord unveiled its significance, highlighting the idea of sowing seeds for a harvest, aligning with biblical principles.

 

The ministry's mission is to inspire women to invest in one another, exchanging wisdom, spiritual nourishment, guidance, and love. Each woman's SOW may differ, reflecting individual strengths such as courage, power, or resilience.

 

The objective of this ministry is to cultivate a community where women empower and uplift each other, not only within H.O.P.C.M but also on a global scale. It encourages women to seek divine guidance to comprehend their unique contributions and blessings, with the belief that this collective will enhance the lives of women worldwide.
